Pebble Strength ("the app", "we") is a personal strength-training companion for Pebble smartwatches. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what we do with it. Questions: azwhaley@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Google account info. When you sign in with Google we
receive your Google account identifier, email address, and name (the
openid,email, andprofilescopes). We use this only to create and identify your account. - Training data you create. Workouts, exercises, logged sessions, and bodyweight entries.
- Data from your Pebble watch. When your watch is connected via the companion phone app, it uploads set logs and raw accelerometer recordings of your sets.
How we use it
- To provide the service: store and display your workouts, sessions, and progress charts.
- To improve on-device rep counting, we analyse the accelerometer recordings you upload.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Google user data
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use Google sign-in solely to authenticate you and provide the app's features; we do not transfer this data to others except as needed to run the service, and never for advertising.
Storage, cookies, and security
Your data is stored in a database on our server. Access is limited to
operating the service. We set a single sid cookie to keep you
signed in — there are no third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
Sharing
We don't share your personal data with third parties, except Google for the purpose of signing you in. We may disclose data if required by law.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing azwhaley@gmail.com.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date above reflects the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
